Jenna

Jenna is a sweet 3-year-old X puppy mill mom who is now retired and ready for her forever home! She spent the first 2.5 years of her life as a puppy mill mom, which means she didn't have the same experiences as other dogs her age. Because of this, she can be a bit timid and shy, but she's made remarkable progress in her foster home! With the help of her foster family and a calm resident dog, Jenna has learned to relax and just be a dog. She now enjoys jumping on the bed for attention and wags her tail happily. However, she can be reactive to sudden noises, like a chip bag opening, which can cause her to panic.

Ideal Home

Jenna would do best in a quiet, dog-savvy home with a calm, companion dog who understands her past. She needs a patient and caring owner who will let her set her own pace. A fenced-in and gated yard is a must for her potty needs and safety.

Ongoing Health

Jenna is fully vetted, spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative. Subsequent vaccines will be the adopter's responsibility. Her adoption donation is $600.00.

Training & Support

Jenna is working on her potty skills and will need frequent bathroom breaks, especially in a new environment. She needs time to feel safe and adjust to a new household routine. With consistent companionship and understanding, she's expected to relax and show her charming poodle personality. She adores being petted, especially on her head, and will happily sit next to you for hours.
