About Sage Cowan

Sage is a beautiful Shepherd mix with striking ice-blue eyes and a Husky-like energy! She's a dog on the go, always exploring, sniffing, and even enjoying a good swim in any puddle or ditch she can find. Sage is very attentive to people, walks well on a leash, and is a quick learner when it comes to commands. While she enjoys a good game of "keep away" in the yard, she's also happy to settle down. She thrives when paired with active male dogs who enjoy wrestling and playing. Sage has been a star in public, attending rescue events and mingling with crowds; she's quiet, observant, and greets everyone with a friendly lick. She has excellent manners and knows how to relax and be part of the party.

Ideal Home

Sage would thrive in an active home or on a large property like a farm or ranch where she can get plenty of daily exercise.

Ongoing Health

Sage is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She has been treated for heartworms.

Training & Support

Sage is well-behaved on leash and listens to commands. While she enjoys "keep away" during play, she generally has great manners.
