Have you seen a cuter smile on a dog? I didn't think so!
Meet Leroy -- a 2-year-old Pyr mix who is far from the baddest man in the whole damn town and he's certainly not meaner than a junkyard dog. Leroy is a sweet, playful boy who came to us after his owner developed health issues. He is more than excited to be around his people and might even jump on you at an initial sighting. He is playful with other dogs but can be dominant, particularly with male dogs, so he'd do best in a home with a calmer female dog, or as a solo guy. He's a bit interested in cats, but we suspect thug kitties could hold their own against his eagerness -- he swears he's just being friendly.
Ideal Home
Leroy's ideal home will have a large, fenced yard where he can get some energy out, as well as a home with a more active adopter. While he's not the energizer bunny, he is young and playful. He can also be a bit vocal at times, so no apartments for this guy. A home with young kids probably isn't ideal unless you're training them for football.
Ongoing Health
All known information about Leroy is provided in his listing. We do our best to provide accurate information, but adopters should understand that each home is different and the dog may behave differently in a new home. Dogs are creatures of their environment and you help make the dog what it will be.
