This sweet Staffordshire mix, weighing in at 60lbs, is a 5.5-year-old spayed female with the cutest puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen. Akira was rescued from the euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We can't understand why this loving girl hasn't received an application yet, as she's truly a gem!
Akira is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. She enjoys lounging on a comfy dog bed and is a big love bug who thinks she's a tiny lap dog. You can often find her snoozing until it's time for a walk, and she loves to entertain herself by chewing on bones or playing with her stuffed toys.

Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive pups. However, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only, the apple of your eye, so she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home.
