Rocky

Some puppies have a rough start in life, but Rocky is determined not to let that define him! Rocky is a 5-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix with a big personality, a bigger heart, and a lifetime of adventures ahead of him. After being abandoned at a young age, Rocky was given a second chance and he's making the most of it. This happy-go-lucky puppy loves to run, play, explore, and be part of whatever his people are doing. Rocky is everything a puppy should be: goofy, energetic, curious, and full of love. He enjoys playing with other dogs, has done well with cats, and loves spending time with people. Despite his rough start, Rocky remains trusting, loving, and excited about life. Now all he needs is a family to call his own. Rocky's story started with abandonment. We're hoping the next chapter is all about belonging. Could you be the family he's been waiting for?

Ideal Home

Like most young herding breed mixes, Rocky will thrive with an active family that can provide exercise, training, and plenty of opportunities to learn and explore.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.

Training & Support

Because of some early uncertainty in his life, Rocky prefers not to share his meals with other dogs and may give a warning growl if another dog gets too close while he's eating. He's never shown aggression, and feeding separately is an easy way to help him feel secure.
