Archie

Archie is a 2-year-old male Pit mix weighing 45 pounds. This affectionate short king has doe eyes, a raspy voice, an underbite, and an enormous love of cuddling. He is calm, sweet, low-to-medium energy, and a devoted companion.

Ideal Home

Archie would thrive with a loving family willing to go at his pace as he continues building confidence. He is friendly with dogs and has done well with both of his foster sisters. He can be shy around unfamiliar men, so new experiences and introductions should be gentle and gradual. His compatibility with cats is unknown.

Ongoing Health

• Vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped
• Heartworm negative
• Reported sleep apnea
• Adopters receive a certificate for a free wellness visit, valued up to $250, at Naperville Animal Hospital. The certificate must be used within two weeks of adoption.

Archie is crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a loose leash. He has practiced sit, touch, down, come, and wait, and is learning to settle calmly when his humans leave.

Adopters and fosters receive 30 days of Petcademy training and behavioral support by text message and email. Canine Crews also offers a 50% discount on its Basic FUNdamentals Group Training Class.
