Triton

Triton is a charming and mellow dog with a unique gait due to a birth defect in his femurs. This condition causes his knees to turn outward, leading to early-onset arthritis. Despite this, Triton gets around well and enjoys belly rubs and playtime. He's a social pup who loves to be with his people and gets particularly excited about mealtime! While he enjoys toys, he has a tendency to eat them, so only durable chew bones are recommended for him.

Ideal Home

A home that understands and accommodates his mobility needs. He needs a family that can provide him with daily anti-inflammatories and is prepared for the possibility of a wheelchair in the future. Walks are not his forte, but plenty of love and attention are.

Ongoing Health

Triton has arthritis due to a birth defect causing curved femurs and outward-turned knees. He is currently on daily anti-inflammatories. There is a possibility he may need a wheelchair down the road.

Training & Support

Triton likes to play with toys but also likes to eat them, so he cannot have any stuffed toys. He enjoys chew bones.
