Hi there, I'm Jupiter! I'm a smart, loving, and loyal girl who adores my humans and will shower you with kisses and snuggles. My favorite spot is right by your leg, reminding you how much I love you. Food is my second love, and I'm highly motivated by treats, which makes training a breeze! I'm a quick learner and can already "sit," "lay down," "wait," and "off." I also enjoy puzzle toys to keep my brilliant mind engaged. I'm a bit of a slobberer, but it's just my way of showing affection! My beautiful brindle coat is a fashion statement, and I'm always up for being dressed up. I love car rides and can't wait for our adventures together.
Ideal Home
Jupiter would do best as the only furry friend in the home, as she can get nervous around other dogs. She also gets frightened by loud noises like big trucks. While she's not a fan of kennels, she'd be thrilled to sleep in bed with you. She's a couch potato once inside and loves to cuddle. No chicken-based dog food for this fashionista, please, as it makes her itchy.
Ongoing Health
Jupiter had TPLO surgery in March 2022 to repair a torn ACL in her back leg. She has pins and a plate, but her legs are strong now, and she enjoys her daily walks. She takes daily medication, which she happily takes with a treat.
Training & Support
Jupiter sometimes chews on things when bored, but she's willing to learn. She prefers squishy rubber toys over hard ones. She's skilled at leash walking with clear guidance and is excited to learn more tricks with treats!
