About Bandit AW

Bandit is a female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky, making her extra special! She was born on July 21, 2025, and weighed in at a strong 71 pounds in early March when she was spayed and microchipped. Bandit is full of energy and excitement, just like most young shepherds. She loves playtime and being outdoors, especially chasing a ball, chewing on bones, and playing with her siblings. She's also best friends with a Great Dane, so she can definitely keep up with the big dogs! Bandit's favorite game is making stuffed toys disappear like snow in South Texas. She's a total sweetheart with people, loves to snuggle, and gives plenty of kisses. She's great with foster grandkids aged 4 and 8, though she can get a little excited and accidentally knock them over, always apologizing with kisses.

Ideal Home

Bandit would love an active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors. While she lives with an outdoor cat that keeps her distance, her compatibility with a friendly feline is still unknown. She can be a little reserved at first with new people but warms up quickly with patience, encouragement, and treats.

Ongoing Health

Bandit is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines and preventions. She was a perfect patient during her spay and took all her medicine like a champ, especially when hidden in wet food.

Training & Support

Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is not yet crate-trained, but her foster family is working on leash training and helping her become more comfortable meeting new people.
