About Rosie

Swipe Right on 43 Pounds of Loyalty, Goofiness & Main Character Energy!

Hi there! I'm Rosie, a young adult pup who weighs in at a delightful 43 lbs. I believe in following my person everywhere, playing fetch until we both collapse, and winning tug-of-war championships. I'm a lady when it comes to pottying outside and I'm happy to be your shadow 24/7. What I don't believe in is being ignored, being left in a crate all day, or big bully dogs. I had a bit of a rough start before rescue, as I was attacked by a larger dog. This means I can be a little nervous when meeting new furry friends and need slow, thoughtful introductions. But once I feel safe, my goofy side really shines bright!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a confident human who understands that healing takes time. While I currently live with multiple dogs and do well in a pack, I can be a bit pushy and dominant. I have a rough-and-rowdy play style and sometimes forget that not everyone wants to wrestle! Because of my history and play style, any dog siblings should be introduced slowly and carefully. I’d thrive with a savvy adopter who can help me continue building confidence and good manners. I do not do well with big bully dogs.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed and up-to-date on all my vaccines.

Training & Support

I am crate trained and house-trained, and I'll let you know when I need to go out. I love affection and give 110% effort in every game!
