Stallone

Stallone is a handsome 2-year-old Husky/Heeler mix who has already overcome so much. Found as a stray, he was rescued from a shelter just hours before euthanasia and has been given a second chance at life. He's healthy, active, and incredibly intelligent, forming deep bonds with those he trusts. Stallone loves long walks, brushing sessions, belly rubs, and relaxing with his favorite people. Once he trusts you, he's affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he's close. He's shown remarkable growth and can be successfully introduced to new people through slow, thoughtful introductions.

Ideal Home

Stallone is looking for an experienced home that understands the importance of routine, leadership, and allowing dogs the time they need to decompress and build trust. He would do best in a home without young children and with a quieter lifestyle where he can continue to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Stallone is neutered, fully vetted, and has completed heartworm treatment. He is currently healthy.

Training & Support

Stallone struggled with resource guarding and became protective in certain situations when he first entered foster care. With time, structure, and guidance, he has made a remarkable transformation. He continues to show growth and can be successfully introduced to new people through slow, thoughtful introductions.
