Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome and energetic 1.5-year-old, 57lb Shepherd mix (though his breed is a best guess) who thrives on adventure and interaction. He’s a smart, social, and people-loving companion ready to be your go-to “lets go do stuff” guy. Tahoe's unique coat, stately posture, and athletic presence are sure to turn heads. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, playful, affectionate, and eager to learn, making him a wonderfully workable dog for continued training and engagement.
Ideal Home
Tahoe would love an active home where he can be involved in family activities. He is not suited for a home with cats, as his prey drive is too high. He also needs to live with dogs over 25lbs, as smaller dogs may feel overwhelmed by his size and enthusiasm.
Ongoing Health
Tahoe is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and a heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Tahoe can be a little enthusiastic when greeting new people and may gently jump up, but this is easily managed with positive guidance and corrections. He is an intelligent and eager learner who responds well to consistency and structure. He enjoys continued training, which will help him thrive and is likely to be fun for him.

Transportation
Tahoe is currently fostered in Texas. He can be transported nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You will be able to track his journey and receive photo updates.
