However, he's been keeping his kennel clean since arriving at the shelter, showing he's a smart boy who just needs a consistent routine to succeed. Jasper has a friendly spirit and a playful streak, with a medium-to-high energy level that makes him a great companion for active days and relaxed evenings. He's happy to entertain himself with toys or explore, but he also loves to check in with his favorite people. Jasper enjoys affection, though he's definitely an 'on his own terms' kind of guy! He's shown interest in other dogs, but he might be selective, so careful introductions would be best. Jasper is a well-balanced dog who appreciates both connection and his independence.
