Meet Cooley! This handsome hunk-a-love was rescued from a homeless encampment and is now ready for his forever home. Despite his difficult past, Cooley is one of the sweetest Shepherds you could ever hope to meet! He's a fun-loving, gentle, affectionate, and loyal companion who is friendly with everyone he meets. Cooley is playful, engaging, and silly, and he's a smart boy who knows "sit," "down," and "drop it" and loves to learn more. He's motivated by food and balls, which makes training a breeze. Cooley loves a good massage and a belly rub, and he's also dog-friendly, crate-trained, and house-trained.

His favorite pastimes include fetch (especially with squeaky balls!), nose work (he's great at finding hidden treats), leash walks (though leash training is a work in progress), sunbathing, cuddles, and car rides. Cooley has loads of Shepherd energy and needs regular physical exercise, mental stimulation, and structure/predictability in his home life to thrive. He's a wonderful, loyal, and loving companion for life, weighing in at 80 pounds with an ideal weight of 90-95 pounds. He is 3 years old.
