Cody is an estimated 5-year-old, 90 lb bundle of gentle energy with long legs and soulful eyes. He's a tender soul who leans into his people for comfort, offering a quiet, meaningful hug. Cody can be a little reserved when meeting new people and in new environments, but with a calm space and a predictable routine, he quickly settles and shows his loving heart. He's not a high-energy dog and prefers peaceful coexistence with other animals, including a calm house cat he met with quiet curiosity. Cody's favorite activity is a relaxed car ride with the windows down.

Ideal Home

Cody would thrive in a peaceful and predictable home with a calm and patient energy. A yard would be a bonus, but the home's overall environment is most important.

Ongoing Health

Cody is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Cody needed about 1-2 weeks to settle into his foster home. He's demonstrated respectful behavior towards cats.

Transporation

Cody is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport to Canada requires pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
