DOTTIE

Dottie is an adorable 10-month-old Dachshund and Pug mix with a beautiful glossy black coat, a white chest, and black speckles. She's a playful puppy who loves to wrestle, run, and play. Dottie is a little shy at first but quickly warms up and becomes very affectionate, loving to snuggle and give kisses. She's a smart and active girl who would make a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a home with a young and playful dog to keep her company, as she loves to wrestle and play with other pups. She also needs a securely fenced yard for safe playtime and potty breaks. Dottie needs to be with her family during the day and cannot be left alone. A perfect match would be someone who works from home or an active retiree (under 65) who can spend plenty of time with her.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is current on her Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She is spayed and microchipped. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on Heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Dottie is doing very well with her housetraining and uses a doggie door. She sleeps quietly in a crate at night and has also slept peacefully on the bed. While she is not yet well-trained on a leash, she is a smart girl and will likely learn quickly.

Transporation

Dottie is located in North Carolina. Approved adopters must come to North Carolina to meet her and take her home.
