Meet Zeus, a big, lovable powerhouse searching for his forever person! If you're dreaming of a strong, affectionate, and goofy companion, Zeus is your guy. He was discovered living on the streets of Puerto Vallarta and came into our care with a serious infection. Thankfully, after receiving excellent treatment and vetting, he's now healthy, healed, and eagerly awaiting a loving home. Zeus is playful, smart, and a joy to be around.
Ideal Home
Zeus would thrive in a home without small children, as he is a powerful boy and can sometimes jump. He gets along well with some dogs, particularly playful females. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for him to explore and play, and he'd do best with an active and confident owner who can match his energy.
Ongoing Health
Zeus has fully recovered from a past infection and is now healthy and ready for his new life.
Training & Support
Zeus already knows "sit" and "shake," and he's doing well on the leash with our staff. He's eager to learn and clearly had a family before, making him very social and receptive to guidance. He just needs a patient owner who can provide him with consistent attention and training.

Transporation
Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters in the US and Canada are matched with volunteer flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You'll meet your new pup at the airport. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully facilitated many summer adoptions with volunteers assisting at the border, ensuring a smooth transition for your new furry family member.
