Princess Mya

Princess Mya is a petite 5.5-year-old terrier mix with a playful spirit and a tender heart. She's been with us before, experiencing a loving home and then returning to our care. Princess Mya is looking for a special family that understands her unique needs and is eager to partner with her on her journey. She adores her toys, loves a good play session, and offers the sweetest eye contact to those she trusts. Princess Mya knows basic cues like "sit" and "paw," often accompanied by a charmingly shy smile! She can be quite wiggly and excited when greeting familiar faces. While she walks well on a leash, she might pull sometimes. She can also display some reactivity in her kennel when behind barriers. Princess Mya has sensitivities when it comes to handling and prefers affection on her own terms; she's not a fan of prolonged petting or having her paws touched. She also has a tendency to resource guard food and special treats, but she's learning to trade items when approached correctly.

Ideal Home

Princess Mya would thrive in a child-free, adult-only household that can offer structure, patience, and consistent training. She needs to be the only dog in the home.
