Winter

My name is Winter, and I'm a 6-year-old deaf girl looking for a safe and loving place to call home. My current foster family loves me dearly, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they can no longer keep me. I don't fully understand what's happening, but I know my world is changing again, and it's a little scary. While I can't hear your voice, I'm incredibly intuitive and feel kindness, comfort, and love deeply. Once I trust you, I'll shower you with affection. I'm housebroken and crate-trained, with a low-to-medium energy level – a couple of walks a day will keep me happy. I'm also a professional cuddler and a fantastic nap companion. I'm good with children aged 6 and up, but I would do best as the only pet in the household so I can truly relax and feel secure. A calm male dog might be okay with very careful introductions, but my ultimate dream is a peaceful home where I can just be your special girl. Unfortunately, I'm not a good fit for homes with cats. I'm spayed and ready to share my 60 lbs of love with the right person. Dogs like me are sometimes overlooked because of their specific needs, but I am so worthy of love and safety. Please don't let me run out of options.

Ideal Home

A calm home with a soft place to sleep, where I can be your one and only pet. I am good with kids 6+ and would prefer no cats.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. I am deaf.

Training & Support

I am housebroken and crate trained. I have a low-medium energy level and do well with 1-2 walks a day.
