Zara

Zara is a beautiful 5-month-old puppy with the sweetest heart. She's a gentle, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world and people can be safe. Because she's very timid, Zara needs a patient family who will let her come to them on her own terms and celebrate the small victories as her confidence grows. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. Zara has not yet learned how to walk on a leash, so she'll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore, play, and build confidence at her own pace.

Ideal Home

Zara needs a patient family who will let her come to them on her own terms and celebrate the small victories as her confidence grows. A securely fenced yard is a requirement for her. Another confident, friendly dog would be a great sibling for her.

Ongoing Health

Dogs from Wags come with the following medical care already provided: Spay/Neuter, Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters), Heartworm Test (for dogs over 9mo), Microchip, Deworming, Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative, Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian.

Training & Support

Zara has not yet learned how to walk on a leash, so she'll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore, play, and build confidence at her own pace.

Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing.
