Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus

• I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.
• I have a lot of puppy energy and need an active adopter!
• I already know some basic commands!
• Balls, squeaky toys, rope toys, I love them all! -I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.

My home needs are:

• I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies.
• Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life!
• It's recommended I go home to an active home.

Hi there! I’m Janie, a 5-month-old Shepherd mix, and I am officially ready to find my furever family!

As you can probably guess, being a young pup means I have a lot of energy. I’m looking for an active adopter who loves outdoor adventures, playtime in the yard, and keeping a fun-loving puppy busy!

Don't let my silly puppy antics fool you, though... I'm actually quite the scholar! I’m currently enrolled in Wayside's Waifs with Wisdom program. That means I've already been working hard on my basic commands and practicing my loose-leash walking skills. I can't wait to show off how smart I am!

I love making new friends, but if you have other dogs at home, I do need to meet them at the shelter before we go home together to make sure our play styles match.
