Crosby is a big, happy 50 lb Retriever & Staffy mix, estimated to be born on 11/19/23, who’s ready to join your family! His absolute favorite thing is to cuddle up in bed with lots of cozy blankets. He’s the perfect buddy for a rainy day, curled up with a book or your favorite movie. He’s also the perfect buddy for a sunny day, hiking in the mountains or taking a long walk on the beach. Crosby was once a stray in Houston, Tx. He wandered the streets in search of some place to call home. He found his way to the rescue, and now he is ready for his forever home. He would thrive in a home with an active family who enjoys being outside. He also loves car rides!

Crosby is kennel and potty trained. He is also dog friendly. Adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. Transporation
Crosby is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and pickup locations may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport.
