Buddy McBee

Buddy McBee is a handsome 3.5-year-old, 63 lb Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Buddy came to us from a shelter and, while his past is a mystery, it's clear he hasn't always known the warmth of kindness. This has made him a bit uncertain initially, but with the help of a dedicated team and his patient, loving foster, he's blossomed! Buddy is learning every day that people can be safe, kind, and loving. Once he trusts you, his affectionate and playful personality truly shines. He loves to run and play in the yard, and he thrives when he can get his energy out.

Ideal Home

Buddy needs a calm, experienced dog owner who understands that building trust takes time and patience. He would do best in a home without young children, but could potentially thrive with a mellow, respectful dog companion. A calm and confident presence will help him feel safe and secure, as he tends to mirror your energy.

Ongoing Health

Buddy has no known ongoing health conditions. He has received all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), is neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Buddy has made great strides in his training. He is leash-trained, knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and has undergone professional training, including muzzle training and desensitization. He benefits greatly from a steady and patient approach to solidify his trust and confidence.

Transporation

Buddy is currently located in South Texas and can be transported to his new home after adoption. We deliver to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, and Maryland.
