I came from a puppy mill situation, so I can be a bit timid when I first meet new people or explore new places. I like to take my time, observe, and make sure I feel safe before I open up. But once I trust you, you'll see just how intelligent and attentive I can be. I'm a quick learner and eager to please, especially with gentle guidance and consistency. I'm looking for a calm and understanding home where I can continue to build my confidence and feel secure. I'd do best as the only dog, so I can have all the attention and focus on my people.
