Hi, I'm Jace! I'm a charming 55-pound bulldog mix with a heart full of love to give. My coat is a handsome mix of white and brown, and I'm just as sweet as I look! My absolute favorite thing in the world is to snuggle up with my favorite person for some quality belly rubs and head scratches. I'm a smart cookie too, and I've already mastered "sit," "down," and "leave it." I'm a very motivated learner, especially when treats are involved – I'll do just about anything for a tasty reward!
When it comes to playtime, I love my Kong filled with kibble or peanut butter, bones, and any soft stuffed animals. Fetch is a blast, though I might get a little too excited and not want to give the ball back right away! Tug-of-war is another favorite. I'm looking for someone to be their best friend. I love to follow you around and just hang out. I'm a bit of a goober and don't quite realize how big I am, so I might try to sneak onto your lap just to be close.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home where I can be your one-and-only canine companion, as I'm not good with other dogs. My fear of them stems from my past, where I was chained outside and unfortunately experienced starvation, leading to food guarding. I do get along with cats, but please keep my food safely away from them.
Ongoing Health
I have a unique facial feature – one side of my face will never fill in completely due to an old injury, but it doesn't affect my cuddly nature one bit! I'm neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. I was previously heartworm positive but have successfully completed treatment.
Training & Support
I'm already potty and crate trained, and I walk wonderfully on a leash. My past experiences have made me a bit sensitive about my food, so continued positive reinforcement and careful management around meal times will be key to my continued success.

Transporation
