Ethel Mae is a survivor, a truly special girl who endured Hurricane Helene and emerged ready for her forever home. She arrived at Piedmont Animal Rescue a bit shut down after the devastating hurricane, but with the incredible patience of her foster family and the guidance of Elevation K9 Training, she has blossomed into an amazing companion. Ethel is a smart and capable girl who loves exploring wooded trails, enjoying a pup cup, and spending time with her trusted people. She has learned commands like "heel" and "place" and continues to build confidence with every new adventure.
Ideal Home
Ethel would thrive in a home with another confident dog to help show her the ropes. She is also cat-friendly and enjoys playing with kittens! She may be a little cautious when meeting new people or visiting new places, but once she feels safe, her sweet and loyal personality shines through. She is looking for a patient, loving family that understands trust is earned through kindness, consistency, and encouragement.
