Lilac

Lilac is a sweet 6-year-old, 55lb lady who has blossomed into an affectionate and lower-energy companion. She arrived as a stray and has shown a preference for snuggles and calm introductions. Lilac did wonderfully in a previous home with children and another dog. She's fine with resident dogs and cats, and children. While she can be a bit jumpy when meeting new people, she's generally friendly. She sometimes shows a playful interest in the cat but mostly ignores them. On walks, she's pretty enjoyable, sniffing and walking relatively easily with a harness when there are no distractions. She's mostly potty-trained but does have occasional accidents. Lilac is great in the car, loves to play, and doesn't bark inside the house. She can be a bit mouthy when feeling playful, like a puppy, but her favorite pastime is lounging on the couch with her favorite people. She's also great with visitors at the door!

Ideal Home

Lilac has thrived in a home with children and another dog. She enjoys calm, slow introductions to new people and would likely do best in a home where she can continue to feel safe and comfortable.

Lilac has been spayed.

Training & Support

Lilac is mostly potty-trained but may have occasional accidents. She can be mouthy when playful, similar to a puppy. She is generally good on a leash with a harness but can be a bit jumpy when first meeting new people.
