About Ivy

Hiya Friends! My name is Ivy, and I'm a beautiful, purebred 1.5-year-old female German Shepherd. I was originally purchased for an elderly person who found my youthful energy a bit too much to handle, but thankfully, I've been surrendered to a wonderful rescue! I'm currently enjoying life on a farm and would love a spacious, safe place to run, zoom, explore the yard, and get plenty of exercise.

I'm a super active girl and would make an excellent hiking, walking, or running companion. The world is a big place, and I'm eager to explore it with you! I get along well with large male dogs and would enjoy a playful canine friend in my forever home, but I'm also happy to be the only dog. I am not a fan of cats, though. If you're looking for an athletic, adventurous, resilient, loving, and beautiful purebred girl, I'm your dog!

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with teenage or adult-only residents. A large, safe yard for me to run and play in is a must. I am not suited for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been spayed.

Training & Support

I am a young, energetic girl who needs a complete obedience training program. This includes learning commands like "sit," "stay," "down," and "come," as well as leash walking, place, kennel, and house manners. If you're committed to training me, I promise a lifetime of love in return!
