Truman

Truman, a delightful Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix, is an 8-week-old male with captivating light-colored eyes that are sure to steal your heart. He's a smart and charismatic pup, brimming with personality and eager to find his forever family. Truman has already mastered "sit," "stay," and "crate," and is diligently working on "leave it." He's fully potty and crate trained and has a unique way of communicating his needs, whether it's for a walk or a snack, by barking or ringing a bell.

Ideal Home

Truman thrives on a balance of activity and relaxation. He enjoys walks, games of fetch, and tug-of-war, and exploring the outdoors. He can get a bit excited by squirrels and rabbits, so a home that can manage his enthusiastic pursuit of these critters would be best. He’s a fantastic couch companion for snuggle sessions. While he's curious about cats, a home without very young kittens would be ideal, as they can trigger his prey drive. Due to his size and energy level, he would do best in a home with children aged 12 and up.

Training & Support

Truman is eager to please and loves to learn, though he still has a few puppy tendencies like occasional mouthiness and nibbling on blankets. Consistency and positive reinforcement will help him continue to grow into a well-behaved companion.
