Hazel

Meet Hazel! This sweet 1-2 year old pittie mix has overcome a lot and is now ready to find her forever family. She was found as a stray, in rough condition, but with some tender loving care, she's bounced back and is eager to start her new life! Hazel is deaf, but this doesn't hold her back one bit. She's an energetic and friendly girl who gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs. She's currently in a foster home, learning all her house manners, perfecting her potty training and leash walking skills, and soaking up all the love she deserves. She's even mastering sign language – she's a smart cookie and a fast learner, ready for her happy ending! We promised Hazel the best of her life, and we hope you can help us fulfill that promise.

Ideal Home

Hazel loves kids and other dogs, so a home with a friendly canine companion and children would be wonderful for her.

Ongoing Health

Hazel is deaf, but this is not a health condition in the traditional sense and does not slow her down. She has fully recovered from her previous ordeal and is healthy and ready for a home.

Training & Support

Hazel is in a foster home and is actively learning good manners. She is mastering potty training and leash walking, and is even learning sign language, which she picks up quickly!

Transporation

Hazel is located in South Carolina. We transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
