Princeton is a 2-year-old, 60lb, neutered male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! He's looking for an active companion to join him on all of life's adventures. Princeton was adopted once before but was returned due to his high energy and play biting. He's made great progress with his training and redirection techniques, but he still needs a strong, patient leader to continue guiding him. He's a silly and entertaining guy who absolutely loves playing in water and will bring endless joy to his new family.

Princeton would thrive in a home that understands his need for consistent training and patience. He's looking for an active lifestyle and would love someone who enjoys hiking, running, or simply playing until exhaustion. Due to his lack of prior experience and socialization, he needs a home without young children or small animals. He will also benefit from a home with plenty of durable toys and bones to keep him engaged.

Princeton is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He has tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and is currently on monthly preventative medication.
Training & Support
Princeton is working on his social skills and play style and needs a dedicated owner willing to help him learn. He has made significant progress in redirecting his energy and focus, but consistency is key. He'll need guidance with household routines, basic commands, and even things like stairs and furniture, as he's spent most of his life in a shelter. Prior experience with training or under-socialized dogs would be beneficial.
