Michele entered The Misfit Ranch after nearly a year of waiting at a boarding facility for her family to return. Despite her past, Michele is a shining example of resilience, greeting everyone with a heart full of love and hope. This beautiful 6-year-old, 50-pound red heeler mix is incredibly affectionate and craves closeness with her people. She leans into pets, smiles when she's happy, and has a special way of making you feel like the most important person in the world. Michele thrives on connection and once she bonds with you, she is deeply loyal and devoted. She can get along with other dogs, especially with slow and proper introductions. She's mostly house-trained, with only the occasional accident, and she sleeps soundly in her crate at night. After a year in a kennel, Michele is now experiencing comfort, love, and stability in foster care, and she's truly flourishing. She's ready to find the loving, permanent family she's been so patiently waiting for.

Ideal Home

Michele would love a home where she can be close to her people and receive plenty of affection. She can coexist with other dogs, but needs slow and proper introductions.

Michele is mostly house-trained with only the occasional accident. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night.
