Meet Shiva! This sweet girl is an American Bulldog/Pit Mix with a birthday on September 28, 2022, and currently weighs around 40lbs. Shiva has a charming personality and a unique way of asking for affection – she loves to slowly walk under curtains or anything hanging for an impromptu back rub! If you don't have curtains, get ready to provide plenty of pets! She's a smart and active pup who knows commands like sit, shake, and down. Shiva enjoys going on runs with her foster mom and would be thrilled to find an active family who loves hiking and biking with their canine companions. She gets along with dogs and has even had positive experiences with chickens and pigs in the past. Shiva is also great with kids! She is potty trained, but while she tolerates crates, she doesn't enjoy being in one. Shiva enjoys companionship and will howl if left alone for too long, so she's best suited for a home where she won't be left by herself for extended periods.

Ideal Home

Shiva would love an active home where she can join in on hikes and bike rides. She thrives on companionship and would not do well in an apartment setting due to her tendency to howl when left alone.

Ongoing Health

Shiva is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Shiva is potty trained but is not a fan of crates. She is eager to please and knows several commands. She would benefit from continued socialization with humans and other dogs to build her confidence.
