MEET DOT
Dot is a gorgeous, middle-child pup with a snow-white, velvety soft coat and beautiful pale teal eyes. She's a Staffy or Dogo/Boxer mix who is unassuming, quiet, and incredibly affectionate. Dot loves to be close for attention and is happy to give kisses, or she'll happily lounge on her bed, watching the household operate. She enjoys playing and romping with her siblings but isn't overly energetic. She is house-trained and was previously adopted to a family in another city. While she loved the young boy in that family, she was nervous around the father, which led to her being returned to the rescue. She had been ill with chronic diarrhea but has since been treated by a naturopath and is now opening up again. Dot loves car rides and treats like apples in yogurt or peanut butter.
Ideal Home
Dot would thrive in a quiet, relaxed, and not overly active home. She would do best with a patient person or couple with no children in the household. While she doesn't like other dogs immediately, she warms up to them and would also be fine as an only dog. She does not enjoy the outside world, but efforts are being made to help her feel more comfortable.
Ongoing Health
Dot was treated for chronic diarrhea by a naturopath and has since thrived on a raw food diet and natural rearing. She loves natural treat options.
Training & Support
Dot can be shy with new people and is not comfortable with other dogs until she gets to know them. Her new family should be dedicated dog lovers, responsible, and open to continuing her natural health options.
