A little about them

Meet Tallulah, also known as Lullah—a 1-year-old Pitbull mix who has blossomed into a healthy, happy 30-pound sweetheart. After arriving in rescue severely emaciated at 13 pounds with painful pressure sores, she has recovered beautifully and now shows off her goofy smile and resilient spirit.

Tallulah is an affectionate lovebug who enjoys being comforted and will happily curl up in your arms. Once she trusts you, she is loyal, deeply connected to her people, and wonderfully tolerant. She is food-motivated, loves scavenging for treats, and is house-trained.

Ideal Home

Tallulah needs a family who will cherish her and offer plenty of love, patience, and kindness. She enjoys other dogs and wants to play, though she is working on managing her excitement around them and has shown mild resource guarding with dogs. She has not shown resource guarding toward people.

Ongoing Health

Tallulah arrived severely emaciated with painful pressure sores but has since blossomed into a healthy 30-pound girl.

Training & Support

Tallulah is food-motivated, making treat-based training rewarding. She is working on containing her excitement when she sees other dogs and is house-trained.
