Heron

Heron is a silly, outgoing, spunky, and fun-loving Basset Hound and Boston Terrier mix looking to brighten your days! He came to us from a shelter in San Bernardino County and quickly made fast friends with everyone, both two and four-legged. His favorite pastimes include roaming the play yard with his buddies, playing fetch, going on weekend hikes with volunteers, and being a ham for attention. Heron has a happy-go-lucky outlook on life and nothing seems to bring him down. He loves to give kisses, and is a very sweet, jolly, and obedient boy to those who know him well and have established trust with him. Heron weighs around 30 pounds, which is a great size for most living situations. He is an estimated 9 and a half years young (DOB December 2011) but can still keep up on long hikes and outdoor adventures.

Heron would do best with an experienced owner who can help keep him grounded and set boundaries, given his energy and tenacity.
