Megan Rapinoe

Hey there! My name is Megan, and I'm named after the super cool Megan Rapinoe! My foster momma says I'm quite fittingly cool, and I'd love to tell you all about it. I'm unique in so many beautiful ways, from my multi-colored coat to my ocean-blue island eyes. Everyone who meets me seems to fall in love! Beyond my looks, I adore the outdoors and going for walks, and I'm incredibly curious and enthusiastic about learning.

I learn a little differently because I'm deaf, but I'm a quick study using my sight and my amazing sniffer! My foster momma's neighbors are amazed by how attentive I am when I'm focused. I thrive on a schedule and am doing wonderfully with my routine. I haven't had any accidents indoors and know that outside is the place to go potty. While I'm not a fan of the cold and sometimes hesitate to go out, I always get the job done! I'm currently learning signs for my name, "sit," "good job," and "no." I'm also learning that my bed isn't a toy! I love to play and be cuddled. I've adjusted well to my kennel and sleep through the night, only whining a little before drifting back off. I don't bark much, but when I do, it's usually because I'm trying to figure out where you're going.

Ideal Home

I haven't had much exposure to cats or children, but I'm super sweet and chill, so I think I'd do well with them. I've had some positive interactions with neighbor dogs through the fence and did a great job!

Ongoing Health

I am deaf.

Training & Support

Training me is really important, but since I love to learn, it will be a fun experience, especially with the right resources!
