Meet Rex! He's a four-year-old, silver-gray Pitty or Staffy mix with a face that's as soft as velvet and eyes that sparkle with sweetness. He sports an adorable white chest spot that makes him look like he's dressed for a formal occasion. Rex is a gentle giant with a heart as big as he is, and he truly goes with the flow of life, always happy and ready for whatever the day brings. He's a big, soft house hippo who knows how to chill and is a true pleasure to have around.
Ideal Home
Rex is a wonderful companion for all kinds of households and lives wonderfully with small children, being extremely gentle with them. He also does wonderfully with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and would be happy as a solo dog, soaking up all the love. He is very apartment friendly, quiet, gentle, and low-key.
Ongoing Health
Rex is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Rex is fully potty trained and crate trained. He enjoys his daily leash walks and walks nicely when you are moving, though he is always happy to pause for a good sniff. He loves toys, especially Kongs and a good game of tug of war. He is treat motivated and eager to please.

Transporation
Rex is located in the Houston area, Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT. There is an $87 surcharge for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
