Journey

Journey is a three and a half year old, 45-50lb, neutered male husky with a heart of gold. He was famously rescued during a hurricane in Houston, even swimming to shore before being caught. Since then, Journey has discovered the joys of a loving home and is ready to share his adventurous spirit with his forever family. He's a smart, handsome, and sweet boy who loves being part of daily life.

Ideal Home

Journey would thrive in a home with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who can include him in their daily adventures. He loves the water and car rides, and he absolutely NEEDS a fenced yard to run and play. He is not suited for apartment living. No tie-outs or electric fences for this guy!

Ongoing Health

Journey is up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, on monthly preventions, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Journey knows his basic commands but is not yet off-leash trained. He plays well with most medium to large dogs, both male and female, though he has shown a preference to avoid one particular male husky in his foster home.

Transporation

Journey is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transport to your area is available through our rescue after the adoption is finalized.
