Maybelle

Maybelle is a sweet 25-30 pound mixed-breed girl, around 18 months old. She's a small to medium-sized dog who recently arrived in the Seattle area and is eager to find her forever home! Maybelle has overcome a difficult past of neglect and has successfully completed all her necessary veterinary care. She's now healthy, happy, and ready to shower a loving family with affection.

Ideal Home

Maybelle would thrive in a home where she can be a cherished member of the family, not left alone for long periods. She would benefit greatly from having another friendly dog companion to share her days with, as she truly enjoys canine company. While she can be a bit timid at first, she warms up quickly. It's important that her new home includes a woman, and any male family members should be patient and understanding as she builds trust. Gentle children are also welcome, as she has been around them before.

Maybelle has received all necessary veterinary care and is now in excellent health.

Training & Support

Maybelle is a bright girl who has made wonderful progress in her foster home! She is now happily crate trained, potty trained, and has a foundation in obedience. Her foster mom has used clicker training with great success, and Maybelle has become leash-trained. She is an affectionate and loving companion who is forming strong bonds.
