Sapphire

Sapphire is a sweet, approximately 3-year-old, 13.5-pound female who is a mix of Spaniel and Dachshund. She was a bit nervous when she first arrived, but she warms up quickly after a few minutes of sniffing and getting to know you. Sapphire can be carried and held, and she walks on a leash, though with a little hesitancy. She absolutely loves to be petted and will happily roll over for belly rubs.

Ideal Home

A home where Sapphire can feel comfortable and safe. She would likely do best in a home without other dogs, as she can be nervous around them.

Sapphire has received her vaccines.

Training & Support

Sapphire can be hesitant on leash, and while she warms up quickly to people, patience and a gentle approach will help her continue to build confidence.
