Meet Joker!

Joker is a charming 1.5-year-old Rottweiler with a heart of gold. He's been with us for nearly 18 months, and during that time, we've learned so much about his resilient spirit. Born with severe hip dysplasia, Joker faced challenges with mobility and comfort.

Ideal Home

Joker is looking for a patient and loving home that can provide him with a consistent rehabilitation routine. He would thrive in an environment where he can continue to build strength and confidence.

Ongoing Health

Joker has undergone a Femoral Head Osteotomy (FHO) surgery to address his hip dysplasia. He is currently in rehabilitation, which includes daily range-of-motion exercises, controlled walks, and weekly water therapy. It's important for his future family to understand that he may always have some mobility differences and could have future orthopedic needs.

Training & Support

Joker is making great strides in his recovery. He is currently with a foster who is dedicated to his rehab. A foster-to-adopt home is ideal, as it would allow him to continue his crucial therapy routine in a stable environment.

• All pets in applicant homes must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.
• Please have your veterinarian's contact information ready, as we will need their approval to contact them regarding your current pets' medical care.
