Maybel is a smart and loving adult female Beagle mix who adores a good lap and enjoys going for walks. She knows several commands like sit, shake, wait, and place, and she's highly motivated by treats, as she was trained using them. Maybel thrives in a calm environment without loud noises or negative reinforcement. She can bark at strangers and needs to be the only pet in the home. While she can get along with calm dogs, she has a history of aggression towards other dogs in the home, even when leashed, and is currently on trazadone twice a day to help manage this. Maybel is looking for a person or family where she can receive all the love and attention to herself.
