Fiona

Fiona is a very sweet, happy girl with a friendly personality, approximately 4 1/2 years old and weighing 52 pounds. She came to us after her owner sadly passed away and has adjusted to shelter life better than her former housemates. Although she was initially a bit uncertain due to the transition, she has shown good social skills. Fiona had a wonderful week in foster care, where we learned she is house-trained, uses a doggie door, is a good slow feeder, loves to play fetch (and is quite good at it!), and is super lovable once she has time to warm up and adjust.

Ideal Home

Fiona would love a home where she can continue to feel secure and loved.

Ongoing Health

Fiona is currently not spayed and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program. This means you would foster her until her spay surgery is complete, at which point the adoption becomes official. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Fiona is house-trained and uses a doggie door. She is also a good slow feeder and enjoys playing fetch.

Transporation

Fiona is located at Sammie's Friends Animal Shelter in Grass Valley, CA. We only offer fostering to individuals in and around Nevada County.
