KING

King is a handsome 6-8 year old Lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail and a heart full of life! He's energetic and active, but also sweet, quiet, and gentle, making him a wonderfully well-rounded companion. King is a solid "10" in terms of energy and loves to run and play. He's friendly with people, kids, and other dogs, and at about 55 lbs, he's a great size for an active buddy. He's not a high-maintenance dog and has good common sense, easily following directions for his crate or to be quiet. While he's generally quiet, he will alert you to anything unusual. King isn't overly affectionate, but when he does lean in for a nuzzle, it's pure heart-melting magic.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular activity and enrichment. He needs a family committed to showing him how great life can be and who will be his best friend.

Ongoing Health

King was found as a stray and was hit by a car, resulting in some physical scars. However, these do not impact his ability to live a full and active life, and he is fully functioning.

Training & Support

King is crate and house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He doesn't show signs of storm or separation anxiety. While he doesn't have many behavioral issues, he has been known to chew plastic water bowls, so metal bowls are recommended.
