Heidi

Heidi is a loyal and loving 4.5-year-old, 70 lb female who has been spayed. She adores people and forms deep bonds, always ready to lounge by your side or greet you with a happy wag. Heidi has proven to be fantastic with the resident dog in her foster home, but she is slow to warm up to new dogs and will require slow introductions. We are unsure how she would do with cats, so a cat-free home or a very experienced and slow introduction would be ideal. Due to her past, Heidi is still building confidence and learning about the world, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and guidance from a patient and understanding adopter. The effort put into helping her grow will be rewarded with an incredibly devoted best friend.

Ideal Home

A home with a large, securely fenced yard would be perfect for Heidi to safely enjoy the outdoors. We are unsure how she is with children, so a home with older kids or adults only may be the best fit.
