Norfolk

Norfolk is a sweet, loving boy who enjoys playing with other dogs. He was found tied to a railroad crossing signal, a sad story for such a gentle soul. Despite his rough start, Norfolk is recovering from malnutrition and parasites, and his resilience shines through. He is a guardian breed, so a slow, proper introduction to new canine friends is recommended. Norfolk currently shows slight food aggression, a common issue for dogs who have experienced starvation. We've found that feeding him in his crate works well, and we expect this behavior to improve as he gains weight and feels more secure. Norfolk is available for a foster-to-adopt program, allowing us to monitor his progress until he is at least 80% recovered.

Norfolk would thrive in a home where he can continue to build trust and security. As a guardian breed, an initial introduction to other dogs in the home is best.

Training & Support
