Panda is a shy but sweet Pittie mix, estimated to be two years old and weighing around 50 pounds. He's a mellow fellow, lovingly named for his black and white coat and his calm demeanor. Panda enjoys the simple pleasures in life: toys, chew bones, and his daily walks. He thrives on routine and structure, finding comfort in knowing what to expect each day. He's a rescue dog through and through, ready to reward a patient adopter with deep bonds and unconditional love. He also enjoys a good snuggle and is known to inch his way closer to his humans on the couch, or happily share a bed. Panda is kennel and house-trained and ready for his forever home.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, suburban or rural home. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs, especially playful females, and would do best in a home with at least one canine companion. He has lived with children aged 5 and up and did well, but they must be respectful and sweet. Panda is not recommended for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue and is up to date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed. He also received a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning about life with humans and a stable home. Patience, Nyla bones, and walks are key to his heart. He is great on leash and enjoys tandem walks. He is also a seasoned and patient car passenger. A full decompression period will be required by his adopter, and our behavior team and foster mom are available to provide support and guidance.
