Meet Emerald! She was rescued alongside her siblings from the Barstow shelter during an urgent situation, and we’re so happy she’s now safe and ready to find her forever family.

Emerald is truly a people lover through and through. She doesn’t just like being around humans, she loves it. This cuddly girl wants to be by your side (or in your lap!) as much as possible, soaking up affection and giving it right back. She’s the kind of puppy who will follow you from room to room, always ready for snuggles, pets, and companionship. This sweet girl has a one of a kind “super mutt” look, likely a Shepherd/Dachshund mix with those cute little legs and a heart full of love!
