Tia (waiting for over a year!)

Tia is a resilient, smart, happy, energetic, athletic, and people-pleasing girl who has been waiting for her forever home for over a year! Black dogs often have a hard time getting adopted, and we can't understand why because Tia is an absolute gem. She's a playful and energetic girl who loves to retrieve anything you throw for her and enjoys spending quality time with her people. Tia is incredibly smart and learns quickly, showing a clear enjoyment for training and a strong motivation for treats.

Ideal Home

Tia would do best in a home where she can receive plenty of one-on-one attention and engagement. To ensure a harmonious environment, we are looking for a home where she can be the only pet, as she guards her food around other dogs. An experienced dog owner who is looking for a dog that thrives on interaction would be a great match for Tia.

Tia is current on all her vetting and is ready to join her new family.

Training & Support

Tia is already doggie door trained. She has a history of guarding food around other dogs, which is managed by feeding her separately. With an experienced owner who can provide consistent engagement, Tia is sure to continue to thrive.

• All animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi.
• We can be available for a video call once an application has been approved.

Transporation

Tia is located in South Mississippi and we personally transport our adopted animals to meet their new families every 2-3 weeks. We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care, traveling to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY.
